About
Transforming learning and lives.
Maggie Steele
Inspiring Curiosity. Providing safety to explore. Setting boundaries that generate achievement. Maggie embraces the adventure of learning and wants to walk with her students as they discover that THEY CAN LOVE LEARNING.
Maggie became a licensed Davis program provider in October 2014. She loves the challenge of changing student’s perspectives to see that they really are able to accomplish their goals using the Davis methods.
Maggie grew up in Richardson, Texas. After earning a degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington, she married a U.S. Marine. She and her husband homeschooled their three children through high school. She loves education and wants every student to experience the opportunities that learning has to offer.
Maggie's son completed the Davis Program when he was in the third grade. His results were amazing. It wasn't just that he was able to read, write, do math, and create order in his life, but he got that "sparkle" back in his eye - the one that had left when he had started to believe that he couldn't learn. He was a "learner" again.
As a Davis facilitator, Maggie has seen many similar transformations. Her goal is to help students to experience certainty in their understanding and joy in their learning.
Maggie continues to be an advocate for education across Texas. She provides dyslexia programs in her home in Anna, and she is willing to travel as needed.
